§01

Frequently asked questions

§01 What exactly does the authorization let Corpus do?
AUTHORIZATION SCOPE

It authorizes us to request your medical records on your behalf — and nothing else. It does not let us make medical decisions or share your data. It's revocable at any time and covers record requests only. See the Authorization page for the full scope.

§02 What happens if I cancel?
CANCELLATION

You keep your record. We provide a full export in open formats (FHIR R4 plus your raw files), and your authorization ends. There's no lock-in.

§03 How is my family's privacy protected?
FAMILY PRIVACY

Each person's records are siloed. Family-level pattern detection works only on data each member chose to share and returns aggregate signals — it never exposes one relative's record to another.

§04 Which regions and insurers do you support?
REGIONS & INSURERS

We're starting with patients in Germany and the EU, where access rights are strongest, and expanding. We'll always tell you honestly what we can retrieve in your situation before you commit.

§05 What's the identity check like?
IDENTITY CHECK

A brief video-based verification, comparable to opening a bank account — about five minutes. It's used only to verify you so providers honor the request; the video is not retained.

§06 "Emergency access" — what is that?
EMERGENCY ACCESS

You can nominate a trusted physician or relative who may be granted time-limited, read-only access if you can't respond — only if you don't decline within a window you set, and always logged. You stay in control.

§07 Who pays — me or my employer?
BILLING

Both models exist. If your employer offers Corpus, you enroll through them at no personal cost. Otherwise you subscribe directly. Either way, you are the customer and the data is yours.

§08 Do you sell my data or give me medical advice?
DATA POLICY

No to both. We never sell or broker your data, and Corpus does not provide medical advice or diagnoses — it organizes your records and flags things for you to discuss with your doctor.

What happens next: we reply within two business days. Onboarding is a one-time identity check (about five minutes — the video is never stored) and a tap to select your insurers; we take it from there.
